Privacy Policy
The short version
No sign-up, no email, no phone number. We keep only what is needed to run a leaderboard.
What we collect
- A random anonymous ID created in your browser (stored in your browser's local storage). It is how we know a score belongs to you; clearing your browser data creates a new one.
- The display name, region, language and industry you pick in the game. Your name is shown on public leaderboards and on result cards you share, so please do not use your real name.
- Your game results: days survived, when the run started and ended, and a few counters (for example how many shields you collected).
- If you share a result, the result card image (it shows your display name, industry and score) is stored so the link can show a preview.
- Anonymous usage events such as "run started" or "share opened", without any personal details.
- We do not store your IP address in our database. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses to deliver the site and may tell the game your approximate country so we can suggest a language.
What we do with it
Run the leaderboards, show your rank and percentile, create share previews, prevent cheating and abuse, and understand which parts of the game work. We do not sell personal data.
Ads and cookies
- The game may show ads provided by third parties, for example Google AdSense / Google H5 Games Ads. These partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads, and, where the law requires, to personalise them after asking for your consent. You can manage Google's ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
- The game itself uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your profile, best score and settings.
Sharing
Sharing is optional. When you share, you decide where the link goes; people who open it can see the result card. We never post anything on your behalf.
Children
The game is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has given us a name that should not be there, write to us and we will remove it.
Your choices
- To have a name or result removed from the leaderboard, or to ask about data tied to your anonymous ID, email hello@wagastudio.com with the share link of the run. You can also clear your browser data at any time, which disconnects the game from you.
- You can report inappropriate names from the result screen.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
